Any time there are circumstances where a risk of being exposed to pathological disease transmission, you need to be careful. This is especially important when any kind of situation occurs like an accident, crime, or anything else that involves the spillage of blood or other bodily fluids. In this case, you have to take steps to protect yourself. It is not a matter of covering the body or fluids. More is needed. • Person providing first aid: There is one concern for the individual. If he comes to the aid of someone who was hurt and bleeding, touching such a person, when not using protective gear, could put the person at risk.

• Cleaning vomit: If you are a caregiver, you may have to clean the floor after someone, especially a patient throws up. In this kind of situation, you would use precautions before touching the floor.
