There are many professional organization businesses that will come in and take care of your project from start to finish. They will help you choose a system that meets your needs. You can also add a closet organization system that can be purchased at home improvement and hardware stores. There are many to choose from and once you have assessed your belongings and your space you will find it easier to select a system that works for you. If you choose to purchase a do-it-yourself system, be sure that you have your measurements ready when you go to the store. Purchase the necessary accessories based on how much you own. Installing closet accessories and hardware is not time-consuming and the instructions are normally straightforward. The benefit of doing it yourself is that you'll know how to make adjustments when needed in the future.

Whether you choose to install a closet organization system or not, there are many storage pieces available that will help you get organized. The key is to make good use of the space at the top and bottom of the closet. Standard closets are usually equipped with regular poles and shelf space. For added storage space, you can add another shelf between the current eye-level shelf and the ceiling. It will provide more space to store seasonal and other less frequently used items. • bins and shelf dividers keep folded items stacked

• hanging organizers with clear plastic divided pouches - these come with small pockets for jewelry or larger sizes for shoes, pantyhose, scarves, etc.

• baskets and boxes to store folded clothes and fashion accessories
(Make sure boxes stack well are properly identified or transparent so that you can see their contents.)

• multi-tier hangers allow you to store multiple items on the same hanger – there are hangers for skirts, slacks, and shirts

• over the door organizers are great space savers
