» Can I reuse a candle holder?
It may seem obvious to ask this question about candlesticks and pillar type candle holders. But did you know that you can also reuse glass container candle holders? It is not as difficult to remove the wax as it seems. When your candle has burned down to the level in which it should be burned no longer, let it solidify back to hardened wax. Don’t try to remove the wax while it is liquefied, as this will make a huge mess. Put the holder in the freezer. It may even be better to tip the candle holder upside down while in the freezer. Wait at least 10 minutes and then try tapping the container with your hand. The wax will usually come right out. If this doesn’t work, and you have given the candle sufficient time, try sliding a butter knife directly down into the wax. This should divide the wax in two and loosen it from the sides of the container so that it will now come out.
