Currently, Apple is marketing three different models of iPods. Some have more memory than others, meaning some can hold more songs. They all have different designs. There is the regular iPod, which is available in 30 Gigabytes (GB) or 60 GB, the iPod nano, which is available in 1, 2, and 4 GB, and the iPod shuffle, which is available in 512 Megabytes and 1 GB. Older models include the iPod mini, which was available in 4 GB and 6 GB, and came in an assortment of colors. The iPod mini has been replaced by the iPod nano, which is smaller and thinner. Another past model was the iPod U2 Special Edition, which has been discontinued. A third older model was the Harry Potter 20 GB Collector's 4th generation iPod, which was later replaced with the Harry Potter 30 GB Collector's iPod. The Harry Potter 30 GB model came with Harry Potter engraving and all of the Harry Potter books pre-loaded.

Both the iPod and the iPod nano have screens and are operated by a mechanical scroll wheel. This lets you select what song to play, what playlist to play it from, and etc. The iPod shuffle does not have a screen, and it is the tiniest iPod, no bigger than a small package of stick gum.
