The main religion in the Islands is Christianity. Churches and sects on the Islands include: Church of England, United Free Church, Evangelist Church, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lutheranism, and Seventh-day Adventism. The Anglican parish of the Islands is under the direct jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Falklands form an Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church.
