The Falkland Islands are a group of approximately 200 sub-antarctic islands in the South Atlantic Ocean off the east coast of southern South America. The islands can be divided into two main regions: East Falkland and West Falkland. There are also other smaller islands to visit: Sea Lion Island, Pebble Island, Saunders Island, Carcass Island, New Island, and West Point Island.
