Now you have decided to visit the grand country of Egypt then you are in for a treat because you will be taking in some of the sights that have amazed and do continue to amaze many thousands of visitors every year. The land of Egypt is one of the larger countries and it is linked to other neighbouring countries such as Libya to the west and Sudan to the south. Measuring at around 386,662 square miles, it has an amazing land mass for the country.

Each region has something different to offer visitors and even though it is more commonly known as the “Valley of the Kings”, there is more than meets the eye in terms of the history and natural sights to be seen.

It is important that when you decide to visit the area, remember there is more to see than just endless pyramids. There are plenty of sandy beaches that surround the area as well and with a wide range of water sports or dives to take part in; Egypt is in a different league to many of its counterparts. It has everything for all ages and tastes.

In areas such as Sharm El Sheikh, you will be treated to having one of the most beautiful beaches within the local area, and perhaps most importantly there is a large number of restaurants in which you can have a choice of French cuisine, Thai or even a traditional Egyptian repast.
