·        Test ads: The business owner would go to a certain company’s website (e.g. Google or Yahoo!), and create ads using certain keywords. This is done at a price depending on budget and other factors.
·        Keywords: The whole pay-per-click system is based on keywords. By picking certain keywords will guarantee hits to your site. The only concern here is with the cost. Each keyword cost a certain amount.
·        Budget: When you establish your pay-per-click ads you set up a daily budget for yourself. The display of your ads will depend on how much money you are willing to spend per day. The more money you are willing to spend, more the ad will be shown.
