Andersen was born in 1805 in the well known island of Odense and he lived in the house during most of his life and it has now been opened as an attraction to all tourists that may want to learn about the life of a great author. It is not an attraction for everyone but he was an excellent writer and for hardcore fans, there is a lot that can be learned by visiting the exhibit.
