The Holland America Line is composed of 14 different cruise ships that sail to all parts of the world. If you want to see the Gulf of Alaska, the Western Mediterranean, exotic Asia, or many other places, the Holland America Line is one of your choices. The size of the ships range from just over 1400 people to just under 2000 people. But it’s not the size of the ships and the choice of destinations that keep bringing people back to this cruise line (even though they are amazing), but the service and little touches that experience adds to Holland America Line.

Though fresh flowers may not be something that jumps into your mind when you think of luxury and elegance when going on a cruise ship, this is just one of the small kindnesses that Holland America shows you when you step on board their ship. Many of the ships have up to 13 different restaurants that serve 5 course meals. And one of the special things that the Holland America Line does has been one of their best traditions: Royal Dutch High Tea. This has been one of their signature activities for passengers. They also have a kid’s club that has different activities for children from 5 to 17, while Mom or Dad enjoy a cooking demonstration or simply walking around looking at the antiques that have been collected over the years.
