There are many cruise destinations out there, but the number of cruise lines may be even more. Certain cruise companies employ giant sea-faring vessels that have thousands of people aboard while some are smaller and cater to a more intimate atmosphere for the people aboard. Cruise ships may have running tracks, nightly entertainment, off-ship excursions, and children’s programs. But which one is right for you?
If you are a young couple looking for a romantic honeymoon voyage or an early anniversary vacation you may not want to be surrounded by tons of children, but still want a lot of excitement surrounding you – from casinos to late night discos. Or, as a young family with children, you may consider more children’s programs even better, because it will allow for a little rest and relaxation that mom and dad may not have had in a long time. Or you may be a slightly more mature vacationer who wants a little peace and quiet, to look out into the ocean or possibly see a whale while on an off-ship excursion. These are some things that you need to know about your own desires before looking at the different cruise lines. So look at yourself, your family, and your expectations; and use this quick list of cruise lines to narrow the choices down a little bit.
