As related to my last post, at least one person is addressing the string of recent incidents involving disasters on cruise ships.
Dan Golden claims to be a veteran of several cruise lines, and, in responding to a front-page story questioning the safety of cruise lines after the disasters in Chile and the recent fires, points out that no death ever occurred due to the cruise's line's negligence.
Golden also points out that 25 million people have taken cruises in the past 3 years and neither suffered from bodily harm or discomfort. The numbers are definitely in favor of cruise safety, and it's easy to forget that considering all the malarky that has happened this year.
