Cruise Outbreak

Goodness gracious, things just don't seem to be going well for the cruise industry these days. You can hardly search the news on cruises without finding some dreadful story about fires, homicides, or otherwise disaster befalling some unfortunate ship.

Along this line of thought, the Celebrity Cruise ship Mercury was beset with the outbreak of some stomach virus on its journey from San Diego to various locales of the Baja and mainland Mexican coasts. Over 200 people suffered from nausea, vomiting, and violent diarrhea during the voyage.

The CDC reported that a highly contagious norovirus was behind the illnesses.

Yikes. Double yikes. If going on a cruise is your forte, you might want to wait a couple of months until this gypsy-curse thing passes.
