Arctic Cruise

Cruise North Expeditions is a cruise company that has been gaining in popularity over the past few years. The company sends both cruises and travel expeditions to the Canadian Arctic.

The cruises feature lectures by naturalists, historians, geologists and ornithologists. Prices start at $3,595 a person, double, and include an Arctic Air flight from Montreal to the Inuit village of Kuujjuaq, Que.

That's a pretty steep price considering you're going to freeze your chihuahuas off up there. But that's the state of adventure travel nowadays - pay someone to torture you in inhospitable environs.
