The first accessory that you can pick up for your personal digital assistant is a keyboard. Some plug in directly to your PDA, and others use the infrared function to connect with your PDA. These are used a lot in the world of education by graduate students and in the business world to take down notes from your board meeting.

The second accessory that you can get is a particular type of stylus. The stylus is used to “write” on your PDA and the basic stylus that will come with your PDA is a cheaper, plastic kind. This one is completely usable, but not extremely durable. The first kind of stylus you can get is a more heavy weighted metal stylus that will be more accurate in writing and extremely durable. Another kind of stylus is a combination one. Some combine a working pen with a stylus and others combine a laser pointer with a stylus. Both are extremely useful with your PDA.

The third accessory that you can buy is a case. Most PDA’s come with a case, but once again they are not the most durable. Usually they are a type of cloth, which bends and is easily broken. You can pick up a case that adapts well with your camera, a case that is made of titanium, or a case that can turn into your wallet with spots for your cash, credit cards, and pictures.

The fourth accessory is a memory card. Most of the applications, email programs, and MP3 capabilities are not usable without additional memory. You can buy different amounts of memory, with the price going up as the size of the memory goes up.
