What are some accessories for my Gaming computer?

The first accessory for your gaming computer is, of course, the games. There would be no need for a gaming computer if you don’t have any games. Many games are now moving to an online interactive gaming system, which could possibly charge a fee for monthly or hourly usage on the host server. This is something that you should check out before buying a game; also make sure that you have the capabilities on your computer to run the game. Because of this online shift, you will also need a high-speed Internet connection. Most games now need to move so fast that dial-up will not work. Some servers will even ask if you are dial-up and kick you out if you are.

Another accessory is the display. While this is technically a necessity, the kind of display that you buy is important. Screens are moving to the size of small or even medium sized TV’s, with the capability of working as a television when not being used for your computer. You can choose from CRT monitors which are your typical large monitors, flat screen monitors which take up less room, and LCD monitors which are often times widescreen and can be mounted on a wall. As the space it takes up reduces, the price of the monitor goes up.

There are hundreds of different accessories that can also be looked into, but here is a short list of them:
• Mice made especially for gaming
• Gaming controllers
• Headsets for live verbal interaction
• Advanced computer speaker systems
• Surge Protection
