Visitors can climb the 468 meters for a beautiful panoramic view of the city. On the ground floor, there is a café, a shopping area, an international city exhibit, and deluxe conference rooms. Admission is CNY70.
Next, you could head over to the Yu Gardens. These gardens were built in the Ming Dynasty and are a remarkable representation of a southern Chinese-style garden. The gardens are 400 years old and are recognized as a significant national heritage site. A shopping bazaar is located around the gardens so visitors can practice haggling as they look for souvenirs. Admission is CNY20.
If you are an art-lover, you won’t want to miss the Shanghai Art Museum. This five-floor museum contains twelve exhibition halls showing modern and traditional fine art. Temporary art shows are held regularly. Painting and sketching lessons are offered for prices ranging between CNY150 and CNY200. The lecture hall can be rented for functions. A gift shop is located on the first floor. Admission is CNY20 for adults and CNY16 for students and groups. Special exhibitions may cost additional admission.
