The island of St. Vincent is located in the Caribbean Sea 75 miles north of Grenada, 24 miles south of St. Lucia, and 100 miles west of Barbados. Its population is an estimated 109,000, with one fourth of the people living in the capital city of Kingstown. St. Vincent does not rely on tourism as a primary source of income; the island has large coconut and banana plantations, the fruit of which is the island’s major export. Because the island can only be reached by yacht or commuter plane, it is a wonderfully quiet place to spend a vacation.

A popular and exciting way to experience St. Vincent is by Jeep Safari Tour. These tours take visitors along mountain roads, through tiny towns, through the rain forests to admire blue-tinted ferns, and past awesome gorges. The tour ends at a spectacular waterfall where tourists swim and snorkel after lunch.

A vacation destination offering common water activities as well as nature trails and incredible flora and fauna, St. Vincent is a peaceful and enjoyable place to visit for prime relaxation time.
