» Full Bed vs. Twin Bed
· With the dimensions of a Full Bed being 54” x 75” and the dimensions of a Twin Bed being 39” x 75”, the difference is clear cut. The length being the same, there is a width difference of 15” which can make a significant difference to most solo sleepers. Many experts recommend that even solo sleepers purchase the largest bed that they can reasonably afford and that their space will allow. Most sleepers are simply happier with more sleeping space. The determining factors could be different for every shopper, but the size of your bedroom and those coveted “15” inches could be two huge factors. Another really important thing to note here is length, as there is an option to go longer with a Twin Bed. The Extra-Long Twin Bed is a full 5” longer than both the Full Bed and the Twin Bed. So again, if you are a really tall sleeper or are planning on housing a basketball team in your future, you may want to consider this option for your little “nest!”
