Usually found online, the "shower in a box" consists of everything you would need to host a baby shower in one box, mailed to your door. Included are decorations, tableware, games to play, invitations and as the center piece, a diaper cake, which is an adorable "cake" made out of either cloth diapers (which make great burp cloths) or disposable diapers that the mother-to-be can use later on. Different themes are offered when you purchase a "shower in a box." Some are simply gender-specific, while others use different cartoon characters or other themes. Be sure you to double check to make sure exactly what your shower box includes and remember that it most likely does not include any food, drink and gifts for the baby!
