Fortunately, the area hasn't heard the sound a gunshot but have an old Cadillac driving by with a bad muffler. This is not a common noise with old cars, but is generally frowned upon by most people. The muffler is so common by people today and even the most ignorant person about cars knows a little bit about mufflers. Some people have one on the back right hand side of their cars and others have a fancier emission system with multiple mufflers. But what if mufflers didn't exist? What if they weren't on any of our cars at all?
There are some important things to know about the muffler. To understand why you are spending money on a muffler, you probably should learn what a muffler does and how it works within each vehicle that has one. The second thing to know about mufflers is how a muffler breaks down and where you can go to fix a muffler. Sometimes a muffler cannot be fixed and needs to be completely replaced by a service station. The muffler is not looked on positively by all people (even though most do) and you should know the reasons why the muffler does have disadvantages. Also there are many things that have the name muffler attached to it - what are these other items so that you will never confuse them with the kind on the back of your car.
