Tips on Making Three Point Turns

In many states driving tests require students to make a three point turn during their exam. Listed below is a step by step guide for making a three point turn:
• Make sure that there is not any oncoming traffic or any traffic behind you before you begin your turn.
• Turn the vehicle to either the right or the left until it is sideways in the street.
• Put the vehicle in reverse and back it up in a straight line as far as you can to the other side of the street.
• Put the car in drive or for manual transmissions first gear and then check the road for any traffic again.
• Turn the wheel in the direction that you are turning and accelerate the gas slowly as you turn the vehicle.
• Straighten the vehicle up and continue driving.
