Finding a parking space in a busy city can be a nightmare. It often times entails circling around and around for what seems like hours before you can find an empty spot. The first thing that it takes to find a parking spot in a city is patience, more tips are listed below:

• Always have plenty of quarters for parking meters.
• Consider parking your car on the outskirts or near the edge of the city and take public transportation into the city.
• Check out occupied parking meters to see how much time is left in order to find meters where the owner of the vehicle might be leaving shortly.
• Before arriving to your destination decide whether or not you are willing to walk and if so how far.
• If one is open and you are willing to pay the steep fees involved a parking garage is a great option.
• If one isn't open or you'd rather save your money for something else, keep your eye out for loading zones because you are able to park there at night.
• Find high traffic areas such as restaurants, shops, or boutiques and try to scope out people walking to their cars ready to leave.
• If after what you consider to be too long you are still in search consider parking further away from your destination.
