• Dreamworld: An amusement park located south of Brisbane.
• Beaches: There are a number of public beaches located in Queensland which also happen to be the most beautiful beaches in Australia.
• Golf: Queensland is home to a number of public 18 hole golf courses. Many public courses provide club rentals.
• Australian Zoo: Located in the Sunshine Coast area just an hour drive from Brisbane the zoo is home to great animals and has daily shows.
• Wineries: There are several wineries and vineyards throughout the state of Queensland. Several offer tours of their wineries as well as samples of their wines.
• Brisbane Botanic Gardens: The gardens have over 20,000 species of plants from all over the world.
• Fishing Boat Charters: There are several areas in Queensland where fishing boats can be rented and taken out with guides for deep sea fishing. Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Cairns all have charters available.
• Broadway on the Mall: This shopping center located in Brisbane has over 70 shops and restaurants.
• Scuba Diving: The areas on the coast in Queensland are excellent places for scuba diving for beginners and experienced divers.
• Sea World: Located in Gold Coast this is a great place to spend the day. Get up close and personal looks at dolphins, sharks, polar bears, penguins, and other sea animals. There are also rides located in the park as well. Sea World offers several dining options with in the park for the convenience of their visitors.
• Movie World: Movie World is a WB theme park that is full of fun and action and is located in Gold Coast about 45 minutes from Brisbane.
• Surfing: Australia is a surfer’s paradise. Along with the big waves the beautiful beaches tie the whole experience together for a memorable surfing experience.
• Snorkeling and Scuba Diving: The Great Barrier Reef is located just off the coast of Queensland and offers wonderful scuba diving as well as snorkeling. There are several dive companies and snorkeling excursions available.
