Equivalent in size to France, Italy and Spain combined, the Northern Territory is blessed with a variety of natural landscapes.

Indigenous culture holds a spiritual connection to the land that dates back tens of thousands of years, yet can still be shared in the present day - through a walk in the desert in search of bush tucker or a visit to an ancient rock art gallery, or sitting in on a story telling session. The Northern Territory is renowned for its colorful, larger-than-life characters.

1) Darwin - The tropical capital of the Northern Territory

2) Kakadu & Arnhem Land - A mix of lush wetlands, rugged escarpments, gorges and cascading waterfalls

3) Katherine - Offers a range of invigorating experiences including bushwalking, fishing, camping and 4WD tours

4) Alice Springs - Australia's most famous outback town, surrounded by many spectacular natural wonders.

5) Tennant Creek - Affectionately known as the Northern Territory's 'heart of gold,' the site of Australia's last gold rush

6) Uluru & Kata Tjuta - Uluru/Ayers Rock is Australia's most recognizable natural icon with great cultural significance for the Anangu traditional landowners
