Phoenix and its surrounding areas are home to a number of beautiful resorts many with golf courses on the premises. The following are some of the resorts the Phoenix are has to offer:
· The Scottsdale Resort: Private transportation picks up guests of this resort from the airport. The resort has accommodations that allow business meetings, retreats, family reunions, or just a simple vacation to be indulged. The Scottsdale Resort has access to 2 premiere golf courses in the area. The resorts restaurant The Palm Court offers a fine dining experience serving such entrees as lobster and duck. Amenities of this resort include a spa, beauty salon, sauna, swimming pool, hot tub, dry cleaning services, room service, and banquet facilities. Rooms at The Scottsdale Resort run $279 a night.
· Pointe South Mountain Resort: One of Phoenix’s premiere resorts this resort has so many extras and amenities you never have to leave the grounds. Located on the resort premises is Oasis a 6 acre water park. Other outdoor activities offered at the resort are hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Pointe South offers 5 themed restaurants and lounges on the grounds as well as 6 swimming pools and famous Phantom Horse Golf Club. The Phantom Horse Club & Spa is also located with in the resort. This all suite resort features suites that come standard with living rooms, wet bars, and balconies or patios. Guest packages are available and rooms start at a nightly rate of $434.
· Legacy Golf Resort: This resort isn’t just for avid golfers. It is also perfect for families, business meetings, or weekend getaways. Activities offered at the resort include golf, volleyball, tennis, swimming, and hiking. Golfers will love the putting greens, practice facility, and driving range. The resort also provides a large outdoor pool along with a children’s pool. The onsite restaurant Trail’s End Bar and Grill has a menu with entrees ranging from grilled mahi mahi to New York strip steak. All guest rooms at the resort are suites that come with full kitchens or kitchenettes and private patios. Rooms start at a nightly rate of $215.
· Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain: This resort and spa has been dubbed one of the world’s best places to stay by Conde Nast Traveler. This beautiful resort offers not only breathtaking scenery but also horseback riding, biking, hiking, tennis courts, and swimming. There is also a full service spa on the grounds. Other resort amenities include an onsite restaurant, fitness center, gift shop, hot tub, child care, and garden. The resort is very close to first class shopping, fine dining, and entertainment hot spots. Rooms at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain start at a nightly rate of $595.
· Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch: Located in Scottsdale this exclusive resort offers several first class luxuries to its guests. The Millennium Resort Golf Club has not only one but two premium 18 hole golf courses. The lake located on the grounds of the resort is a perfect place for a paddleboat ride or sailing. There are also guest rooms available with lake views. Other resort activities include volleyball, tennis, swimming, hiking, and biking. Amenities offered at the resort are room service, restaurants, hot tub, health club, gift shop, garden, and PGA pro shop. Nightly rates start at $294.
