You are able to fly directly into El Calafate and quickly begin exploring the area. Today you will take a mini-hike to the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. This is an amazing mass of ice that is truly unbelievable. Perito Moreno Glacier is the only glacier in Patagonia that is not receding. It is also one of the few glacier formations in the world that reaches over 4,500 feet above sea level and descends more than 600 feet below the surface. This adventure will be a fascinating experience that you will never forget.
