The Teatro Colon is one of the best opera houses in the world and you will find that the building is set over seven floors. It has an amazing array of architecture available and there is an opportunity for you to watch one of the many shows that is held at Teatro Colon. If you want the chance to listen to traditional music whilst have a great meal then the Café Tortoni in Avenida de Mayo is a very traditional restaurant with a large number of paintings being showcased in the area and this mixed with beautiful stained glass light fixtures you can enjoy a meal whilst listing to some outstanding pianists that are there to entertain all patrons.
The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday from 8am to 2am, Friday to Saturday 8am to 3am and Sunday from 8am to 1am. It is not a location where you can get a larger meal but it is an ideal place to settle down with a coffee and choice of smaller meals that range from salads, pizzas and kebabs, prices for main courses range from $2 - $7 and reservations are not necessary for the Café and you will find that twice nightly are tango shows that are held between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
