It is a great area to have a picnic and there are many lush gardens that are waiting to be seen because apart from this, you will be treated to a day of shopping or by stopping by at the local zoo where the kids and adults alike will enjoy seeing different species of animals.
For something slightly different in terms of your dining experience and you must stop off at the Calle de Angeles (Street of Angels) restaurant in the San Telmo area. This is one area where you can have an excellent meal on one of the balconies and you can expect a variety of Argentine dishes with a Mediterranean twist. You can enjoy meals that range from eggplant or lamb with a choice of rice. Afterwoods you could enjoy the coffee mousse to create a great evening.
The restaurant is closed on Sundays and no lunches are served on Saturday but on every other day, you can enjoy a meal in the restaurant that ranges from 8 to 25 pesos which is good value for such traditional cuisine.
