Dining in Buenos Aires can add a little spark to what can be a potentially great holiday and with many choices of typical Argentinean cuisine, you will find a good tasty selection awaits you no matter which part of the region you visit.

You will normally come across a mixture of Spanish and Italian cuisine due to the large number of immigrants that have come to live in the area. It is common to come across a mixture of grilled meats, pizzas, pastas, vegetables and one of the most popular dishes in the area is Milanesas – chicken or beef thinly sliced that are breaded and subsequently fried.

Argentina itself is well known for their lean beef it makes a popular serving method which is named as an asado. It is where different cuts of beef are cooked over charcoal fires which results in tender meat on the inside yet crunchy on the outside. Other meats such as lamb and chicken are cooked in a similar fashion and served with red wine along with popular condiments such as oregano, garlic and vinegar.

Puerto Madero offers a wide choice on any many and the restaurants will more commonly serve the famous Argentine beef that is raved about but you can also be treated to a choice of fresh fish and other alternative meats.
