The citizens of Buenos Aires offer a unique outlook on how they live and relax on a daily basis; the residents are considered to have a highly cultural identity. Within the area there is one of the best opera houses throughout the whole of South America (Teatro Colon) and the majority of locals get intensely involved with general living and culture that the area has to offer. Locals are very friendly and if you show a genuine interest in what the region has to offer then they will gladly share special secrets in the area that perhaps others may not find out.
Neighbourhoods throughout the city are smaller in terms of other areas throughout the country but each has had its own characteristic applied thus adding its own personal touch in time with the locals that live in a particular area. Due to the multinational citizens, you will find no two districts are the same, you can expect to find hints of Spanish, Colonial design, Italian detailing and even some French Classicism.
The most common language you will come across is Spanish but in this modern day, it is not strange to come across some Italian, French and even English – the English and French language are taught in many schools throughout the area.
