Day two will begin by flying to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, which is a must-see Patagonia travel sojourn. This city is best known as the “Gateway to Antarctica.” Visit the local maritime museum to gain an understanding of the area’s local history, which includes its prior embodiments as a missionary outpost and, later, prison town. This area is great for trekking and exploring various trails, with its picturesque setting between the Beagle Channel and the rocky glaciated peaks protruding from the landscape.
