Day four will be spent trekking in the beech forests of Tierra del Fuego. Spend the day exploring Tierra del Fuego National Park, Argentina’s first coastal national park. The paths in this area are not difficult, which makes this the perfect place to appreciate the beauty of Patagonia. This region is recognized for its lush plant species and copious birdlife. Travel along the coastal path, a 3½-hour hike, which is heralded as the most beautiful within the park. Visitors will enjoy forests of both high low deciduous beech, firebrush, winterbark, and much more.

In the afternoon, explore the simple downstream paddle of the Ovando River by canoe. Visitors will enjoy the crystal-clear water that flows into Laguna Verde. Be sure to stop at Lapataia Bay, where the sights often include steamer ducks, petrels, and occasionally, penguins.
