For a truly remote and unique fishing vacation, board a plane and visit King Salmon in southwestern Alaska. Fishing for all five salmon species, plus rainbow and other trout species, is one of this area's top attractions. The world famous Alagnak River has a combined run of over 3 million King, Sockeye, Silver, Chum and Pink Salmon each year plus a huge resident population of Trophy Rainbow Trout and Grayling. The area is only accessible by floatplane and is 250 miles from the nearest highway. The Alagnak River is one of Alaska's most famous remote fishing areas and is adjacent to the more than four million acre Katmai National Park. Plan to stay at Angler’s Alibi, in one of their tent cabins. Amenities include delicious meals, comfortable lodging, and unforgettable fishing. Rates are $2500 per person for 3 nights and 3 guided tours.
