Bungee Jumping is a sport that has emerged in the past few years among thrill seekers across the world. It is considered to be an extreme sport and not recommended for the faint of heart. Bungee Jumping is an activity in which a person jumps from a high place, usually several hundred feet off the ground, with an elastic cord. One end of the elastic cord is attached to the person’s feet or another part of the body and the other end is attached to the place the person jumped off of. When the person jumps and reaches the end of the elastic cord, the cord stretches and then snaps the person back. Bungee Jumping is considered by many to be one of the most dangerous activities a person can do. However, that does not stop more and more people from Bungee Jumping every year. When asked why they do it, most Bungee Jumpers say they do it for the rush. And it is a rush. Imagine free falling through the air, about to hit the ground, and then be yanked back up into the air at the last second. As stated before, Bungee Jumping is not for the faint of heart.
