If aviary adventure is what floats your boat (an ironic pun...and a bad one at that) then SkyRide.com has a good deal of general information on hot air balloons, skydiving, hanggliding, biplane trips, and probably more.

I suppose all of this technically qualifies as "adventure sport" more than "adventure travel" but they're tantamount to enough of an extent anyway.

The site has a good deal of info on each event, along with a photo gallery in case you're not exactly what pertains to "warbirding" or if you just want to have the crap scared out of you.

My thoughts on most of this are, unless you've got serious money to spend, just play chicken on the railroad tracks. It's a cheaper and probably more fulfilling way to toy with death.
