When you look for work you may come across unscrupulous offers, known as scams. If you know the scams that are out there, this will help you avoid them:

· Don’t get involved with any employer who isn’t clear about the position or what his needs are.

· Whatever you do, never give out your credit card, bank account information, or social security number to anyone that is displayed in the ad, especially to anyone you cannot verify as legit.

· If you see an ad about a business opportunity, research it out first. This way you will know whether or not the company is for real.

· Be careful when dealing with people in other countries. A lot of fraud has been known to come from certain countries.
